The five year old brand, MORE is LOVE requested young Tbilisi based studio Objects to design the interior and fittings for the space.
Teal and dusty orange give colour to this cosy boutique in Tbilisi, created by design studio Objects for a previously online only store.
The MORE is LOVE flagship store, on the city's busy but at the same time quiet part , is the first physical retail space for the clothing and accessories company.
Online is still the major part of MORE is LOVE’s business, because it gets the vast exposure into different markets and more sales. Opening a bricks and mortar is another source of exploring the local market. The decision of having a flagship store came naturally and logically, after seeing the growth of the business.
Objects founders envisioned a space where all furniture was designed and manufactured in Georgia, in line with the company's philosophy," said Objects, founded in 2015 by Keti Asatiani and Nuka Korinteli.
Inside, the space was overhauled to make the most of the high ceiling, and highlight elements like the concrete floor and old existing windows with shaders.
Walls were painted white to create a strong backdrop for the meticulously curated selection of products , then colour was added with upholstery.
Teal was chosen for a bench and a pouf that shoppers can use, while the curtain that surrounds a fitting area is a dusty shade of orange.
Merchandise is displayed in several ways, such as on marble and mirror box units and painted glass shelves mounted on the walls.
Brass pipes form display railings at the new MORE is LOVE flagship store after the brand moved from its previous location.
Brass tubes, which surround the store to form garment rails, furniture stands and lighting fixtures, disappearing into heavy marble blocks and textured concrete floor.
Mirrors cover a full wall at the side of the store. Finally, a variety of plants in certain areas adding liveliness and colour to the decor.
